Syde (“Syde” or “We” or “Us”) values the privacy of its customers, players, visitors, users, and others who use or other web sites owned or operated by Syde (the “Sites”) (collectively or individually “User” or “you”). Information Collected by SYDE

User Provided Information: You provide certain personally identifiable information (“PII”) including but not limited to your name, email address, and your profile picture or its URL when choosing to participate in various activities on the Sites. When you register with Syde and create an account you may be asked to provide additional information including but not limited to your full name, age, date of birth, state of residence, e-mail address, credit card or other payment information, and other information that helps Syde confirm your identity.

Log File Information: When you use the Sites, our servers automatically record certain information that your web browser sends whenever you visit any Sites. These server logs may include information such as your web request, Internet Protocol (“IP”) address, browser type, browser language, referring/exit pages and URLs, platform type, number of clicks, domain names, landing pages, pages viewed and the order of those pages, the amount of time spent on particular pages, the date and time of your request, and one or more cookies that may uniquely identify your browser.

Clear GIFs Information: When you use the Sites, we may employ “clear GIFs” which are used to track the online usage patterns of our Users anonymously in a non-personally-identifiable manner. In addition, we may also use clear GIFs in HTML-based emails sent to our users to track which emails are opened by recipients.

Cookies Information: When you visit the Sites, we may send one or more cookies - a small text file containing a string of alphanumeric characters - to your computer that uniquely identifies your browser. Syde uses both session cookies and persistent cookies. A persistent cookie remains after you close your browser. Persistent cookies may be used by your browser on subsequent visits to the site. Persistent cookies can be removed by following your web browser help file directions. A session cookie is temporary and disappears after you close your browser. You can reset your web browser to refuse all cookies or to indicate when a cookie is being sent. However, some features of the Sites may not function properly if the ability to accept cookies is disabled.

Payment Information: If you make any purchases on the Sites, we will collect the billing and financial information necessary to process your charges, which may include your postal and e-mail addresses. Our Terms of Use explain our policies and terms relevant to our charges and billing practices.

Customer Support Correspondence: When you ask for assistance from customer support we will collect and store the contact information you provide (generally your name and e-mail address), information about your activity on the Website, and your user ID number. We will also store the correspondence and any information contained within.

How SYDE Uses Your Information

We may collect, store and use your information to operate, maintain, and provide to you the full features and functionality of the Sites.

Any personal information or content that you voluntarily disclose online (e.g., on discussion boards, postings in messages and chat areas, within your public profile page, through linked social media accounts, etc.) becomes publicly available and may be collected and used by others.

When SYDE Discloses Information

We do not share your PII (such as name or email address) with Third Parties without your consent unless such sharing is required for a specific feature of program of the Sites for which you should have the ability to opt-in or opt-out.

We do share NPII (such as anonymous User usage data, referring / exit pages and URLs, platform types, number of clicks, etc.) with interested third-parties to assist them in understanding the usage patterns for certain content, services, advertisements, promotions, and/or functionality on the Sites.

We may release PII and/or NPII if required to do so by law, or in the good-faith belief that such action is necessary to comply with state and federal laws (such as U.S. Copyright Law) or respond to a court order, subpoena, or search warrant.

Syde also reserves the right to disclose PII and/or NPII that Syde believes, in good faith, is appropriate or necessary to enforce our Terms of Use, take precautions against liability, to investigate and defend itself against any third-party claims or allegations, to assist government enforcement agencies, to protect the security or integrity of our web site, and to protect the rights, property, or personal safety of Syde, our Users or others.

In the event that Syde undergoes a business transition, such as a merger, acquisition by another business entity, or sale of all or a portion of its assets, We may transfer all of your information, including personal information, to the successor organization or other acquiring entity in such transition. If material changes to Syde’s privacy practices will occur as a result of the business transition, We will take reasonable steps in order to notify you and other users of the business transition prior to transferring your personal information.

You May Deny or Decline Submitting Personally Identifiable Information

At any time, you may deny or decline to submit PII through the Sites. If you choose to deny or decline to submit such information, however, Syde may not be able to provide certain services to you and the Sites may not function optimally for you.

To protect your privacy and security and the integrity of the game, we take commercially reasonable steps to verify your identity and location before granting you profile access or making corrections. You are responsible for maintaining the secrecy of your unique password and account information at all times.

Syde permits third-party companies including but not limited to ad servers or ad networks (“Third Parties”) to advertise on the Sites. These Third Parties use technology to send advertisements and links that appear on the Sites. The Third Parties automatically receive your IP address when you use the Sites and may use other technologies (such as cookies, JavaScript, or Web Beacons) to measure the effectiveness of their advertisements and to personalize the advertising content you see.

Syde does not provide any PII to these Third Parties without your consent or except as part of a specific program or feature for which you will receive prior notice and may opt-in or opt-out.

Syde does not guarantee, ensure, or warrant the security of any information you transmit to syde or the Sites and your continued use of syde or the Sites is at your own risk.

Syde uses commercially reasonable physical, managerial, and technical safeguards to preserve the integrity and security of your personal information. Once we receive your transmission of information, Syde makes commercially reasonable efforts to ensure the security of our systems. However, please note that this is not a guarantee that such information may not be accessed, disclosed, altered, or destroyed by breach of any of our physical, technical, or managerial safeguards.

If Syde learns of a security systems breach, then we may attempt to notify you electronically so that you can take appropriate protective steps. Syde may post a notice on the Sites if a security breach occurs. Depending on where you live, you may have a legal right to receive notice of a security breach in writing.
